TWENTY downtown school principals who won this year’s Master Principal titles will be dispatched next month to work for three years at suburban schools to help boost the education standard across the city, the Shanghai Education Commission said yesterday. They are required to train and guide young teachers and improve management in 20 low-performing and newly built schools in suburban districts including Baoshan, Qingpu and Jiading. Schools there face the challenges of an increasing number of migrant students and a lack of training for new teachers.
