Shopper wants payout after C&A leg scratch

A WOMAN is demanding 10,000 yuan (US$1,600) in compensation from C&A after injuring her leg while trying on a pair of jeans at the store’s outlet in Zhabei District on Saturday.

The woman, surnamed Tang, said she cut her leg on a broken security tag, the sharp point of which was protruding through the pocket of the jeans. She said she had been told by a doctor that the scar will last at least a year. C&A China said it has spoken to Tang on three occasions already and will do so again on Friday.
