Railway police bust drug trafficking case
Shanghai Railway Police Bureau has busted a major drug trafficking case involving 11 suspects.
Police have seized 7.7 kilograms of meth, over 260 pills of Magu (a mixture of methamphetamine) as well as 445,000 yuan (US$72,414) of drug money. Two vehicles used for transporting the drugs were also confiscated.
The case came to light when a man was found carrying 198 grams of meth while traveling from Shanghai to Taiyuan by train. Police set up a task force and during investigation caught 11 suspects in Shanghai, Guangzhou and Jiangsu.
