Porsche goes up in flames in head-on crash with sea dike

A Porsche car went up in flames after ramming into the sea dike in suburban Fengxian District Sunday evening, the local eastday.com reported today.
The report said a witness, who was a driver on a following car, saw the Porsche crashed into the dike after the driver seemed to have lost control of the speed when making a quick turn. A fire broke out immediately from the car while the three people on board managed to escape in time. The car was seriously damaged and the injured were sent to hospital.
The fire was later put out by fire fighters.
Over-speeding is suspected to have caused the crash while an investigation is still under way, the report said.
