SHANGHAI branches of French cosmetics chain Sephora and French cosmetics group Coty have been ordered to pay tennis player Peng Shuai 355,000 yuan (US$57,000) for a portrait rights infringement, a local court said yesterday. Peng had earlier accused the two companies of using her image to endorse Coty’s Lancaster body and skin care products after a contract to do so had expired.
