Missing boy found in Hangzhou

Li Ziren, a 13-year-old boy who went missing on Tuesday, was found this morning near the West Lake in Hangzhou, capital of Zhejiang Province, Shanghai police said today.

Li disconnected from his parents when he was riding a bicycle from school to home after his parents were called to the school over his problem of repeatedly forgetting doing Chinese homework.

The parents were also asked to take the boy home before the lessons were over.

Li didn’t go back in his parents’ car as he had cycled to school.

He set off on his bicycle at about 4:15pm. His home is about a 15-20 minute ride from the school. But he didn't show up.

Police were sent outside Shanghai to search for him as there were clues indicating he had gone out of the town.
