Homeless man held for fatal subway stabbing

A HOMELESS man has been detained on suspicion of stabbing to death another man who was sleeping rough in People’s Square subway station, police said yesterday.
The 32-year-old suspect, surnamed Wang, attacked 46-year-old Li with a pocketknife about 1:30am on Tuesday near the station’s Exit 1, Metro police said. Wang fled the scene but was caught by police about half an hour later on Nanjing Road W.
