Fuel seller arrested
A migrant worker, accused of illegally selling over 200 tons of watered-down methanol fuel to restaurants, has been arrested for illegal operation by Fengxian District prosecutors.
To make, sell and transport methanol fuel, which is highly toxic and inflammable, requires an official license that can cost hundreds of thousands of yuan. The suspect, identified as Li Wenjie, decided to do without one, prosecutors said.
