Call for facilities

SHANGHAI seniors say there aren’t enough cultural and entertainment facilities for them in the city and those available are often too expensive, according to a survey published yesterday.

More than 2,000 seniors aged over 60 were interviewed in the survey by the Shanghai Customer Committee affiliated to the Shanghai Quality and Technical Supervision Bureau.

One participant, a man surnamed Wang from Xuhui District, said he likes watching films and shows with his wife, but tickets are too expensive.
