A MAN was arrested on suspicion of stabbing a fruit seller to death over a payment dispute, prosecutors in Putuo District said yesterday. On February 10, the suspect, surnamed Zhang, had an argument with the victim, surnamed Jing, over money he owed him for apples. Since the apples did not sell well, Zhang offered to pay half the amount. As they argued, Zhang stabbed him with a knife.
