7 sent to prison

SEVEN people have been sentenced to prison terms of one to three years on charges of theft by the Jing’an District People’s Court. On several occasions between 2012 and last year, they illegally used the name of the Shanghai branch of China Telecom to speed up the Internet for private users, which cost the company more than 300,000 yuan (US$48,700).
