2 held over drowning

TWO men have been charged with causing the death of an electric bike taxi rider with whom they got into a fight.
The pair are alleged to have tried to extort money from the 22-year-old victim, who jumped into a river in an effort to escape last October, prosecutors in the Pudong New Area said yesterday. The man, however, got into difficulty and drowned, they said.
