A 1.3-MAGNITUDE earthquake jolted Shanghai at 7:09am today, with the epicenter located near Jiading District, according to local authorities.
The epicenter, at a depth of 6 km, was measured at 31.3 degrees north latitude and 121.3 degrees east longitude, according to the city’s seismological bureau.
It was detected 22 kilometers away from the People’s Square.
