Wet days ahead but weekend dry

IT will be sunny over the weekend but today and tomorrow are likely to be wet, forecasters said yesterday.
Skies will remain cloudy today with intermittent showers expected during the day. Due to a trough of low pressure, the wet weather will last overnight and for much of Friday.
It will be sunny on Saturday, a perfect day to head out and enjoy the beautiful spring weather.
Sunday will also be dry and clear with temperatures expected to rise.
Temperatures today and tomorrow will range from 9 to 17 degrees.
The mercury is likely to top 20 degrees Celsius at the weekend.
