Fudan charity event

FUDAN University yesterday kicked off its 13th annual campus charity bazaar to raise funds for students from impoverished families. Twenty four universities from 16 cities in China have been taking part in the event for the last 13 years. The raised funds will be used to provide 3,000 to 5,000 yuan (US$800) subsidies to poor but outstanding students, while those with top academic performance will win opportunities to travel abroad for intercultural exchanges.
