Expect wet days from Wednesday

CLOUDY and overcast weather will dominate the start of the week in Shanghai but be prepared for a rainy day from Wednesday, forescasters said yesterday.

The temperature in the city is set to drop to a low of 20 Celsius degrees, and hit a high of 25 Celcius degrees.

There will be a light haze this morning but the air quality will recover in the afternoon.

Light rain due to a trough of low pressure is expected from Wednesday, but the temperature will stay stable.

The weather is expected to be a little colder than last week which allows the osmanthus trees in the city to bloom on a large scale.

The weekend will be colder due the influence of a cold front, according to the city’s meteorological bureau.
