Tibet kids’ treatment
FIFTEEN children with congenital heart disease from the Tibet Autonomous Region have completed their treatment in the city and will return to their hometowns, the Shanghai Health and Family Planning Commission said yesterday. Since 2012, Shanghai has offered free treatment to 65 Tibetan children with congenital heart disease at leading pediatric hospitals in the city. Of the 15 Tibetan children who came to Shanghai on September 25, the oldest is 10 years old and the youngest just 4 months.
