Sino-Israel Institute of International Innovation to open in Zhangjiang High-tech Park next year

THE SINO-ISRAEL Institute of International Innovation will be launched next year in Zhangjiang High-tech Park. The institute will focus on training and cultivation of domestic start-ups, university students and company employees to learn the latest concept and experiences on innovation from Israeli professionals and experts, officials said yesterday.

The institute jointly set up by Shanghai Science and Technology Commission, Shanghai Normal University, University of Haifa and Tel Aviv University is expected to start operation in September.

Shanghai has been established close collaboration with Israel on scientific development, innovation and research. While marking the one year anniversary of a Sino-Israel Shanghai Innovation Center, the two parties announced to set up a branch in Hongkou District.
