MRI back in operation after wheelchair incident

A magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) machine at Shanghai Pulmonary Hospital will be back in operation today after its powerful magnet was affected by a patient’s wheelchair when it was placed next to it on Monday.
The wheelchair was moved into the MRI room by a patient’s family, who were eager to take them away after the scan was completed.
Medical experts said patients must remove all metal objects before receiving an MRI.
