City reports 4th H7N9 case this winter, patient in critical condition

A Shanghai resident has been diagnosed with H7N9 bird flu, the Shanghai Health and Family Planning Commission said.

The 53-year-old man, surnamed Qi, is the fourth confirmed case of H7N9 reported this winter in Shanghai.

The man is now in critical condition and is receiving treatment now, the commission said.

The case was confirmed yesterday, according to the commission.
