Punan Hospital inpatients to be billed at bedside before being discharged

INPATIENTS at Punan Hospital will be billed at their bedsides before being discharged. The hospital claims the move is designed to make it easier for people to settle up, as they will no longer have to queue up to pay on their way out. It has even recruited a team of “accountants” to make sure no one leaves without first paying what they owe.
