Switch off, join in, go green

GOVERNMENT buildings across the city will turn off their landscape lighting between 8:30pm and 9:30pm tonight to mark Earth Hour. Local authorities are encouraging community groups, businesses and the public to take part in the annual green campaign — organized by the World Wide Fund for Nature — by switching off their lights for an hour.
