Shanghai International Film Festival to launch annual action movie gala

The Jackie Chan Action Movie Gala will run from June 14 to 18 as a new regular event of the Shanghai International Film Festival.

Action movies from around the world are eligible to be part of the gala. Interested producers and filmmakers can visit www.siff.com for more details.

The gala will honor people who have made outstanding contributions to action cinema. Lectures and forums on the latest cinematography and special effects trends will also be held.
