Lion King’s reign to end

THE first Mandarin production of the Broadway musical the Lion King will have its last performance in October at the Walt Disney Grand Theater, the Shanghai Disney Resort said yesterday, marking the beginning of the musical’s final 100 performances.
The 500th and farewell performance will be on October 8.
