CHINESE universities record between 6,000 and 8,000 scientific innovations and achievements every year, though fewer than 10 percent actually make it to market, experts told the National Summit of University Technology Transfer in Shanghai yesterday. They were speaking at the launch of a new platform developed by Shanghai National University Technology Transfer Co and Shanghai Education Commission to increase the “industrialization” of academic innovations.
