A WEEK-LONG training in disaster prevention is being conducted in schools, residential communities and working units in Shanghai ahead of China’s Disaster Prevention and Reduction Day, which falls on today, the day of the Wenchuan earthquake. The program was launched at the Longnan Primary School in Xuhui District yesterday by the Shanghai Civil Affairs Bureau and students were briefed about self-rescue skills.
