THE 12th National Student Sports Games open today in the city, running until Saturday. Nearly 10,000 participants from 34 delegations across the country will take part in the games. A total of 252 athletes from the Shanghai delegation will take part in events at the games, said officials. As well as the competition itself, exhibitions and symposiums about sports education will also be held during the event.
