Shorter train intervals on Metro lines 13, 16

Metro lines 13 and 16 will shorten train intervals during peak periods and extend opening hours beginning on Friday to increase capacity.
Line 13, linking Jinshajiang Road Station in Putuo District to Jinyun Road Station in Jiading District, will shorten intervals from eight to six minutes during morning and evening rush hours. The last train will leave Jinshajiang Road Station at 10:37pm, seven minutes later than the current timetable.
For Line 16, the rush hour train interval will be shortened to eight minutes starting from Friday. The non-rush hour interval will be between 12 and 18 minutes. The last train leaving Luoshan Road towards Dishui Lake Station in Pudong’s Nanhui area will leave at 10:09pm, nine minutes later than before.
