Service station set up to serve Chinese immigrants

A grass-root platform to serve overseas Chinese and Chinese immigrants has been established in the DOBE E-Manor of Daning, China’s first e-commerce service industry park.

The platform is described as a service station for Chinese who went abroad or immigrated to other countries after China carried out the opening-up policy. It is designed to play a role as a bridge linking campus, industry park, office building and community, helping the targeted group to start up their business here.

Leading accounting firm KPMG and social group, Shanghai Dream Relay Youth Development and Exchange Center, are the first two to back up the project.

It will be turned to hub of information and achievement, said Si Jing, deputy secretary of the Party’s working committee of the Daning Road Community.

So far, there are more than 30 platforms of its kind in Shanghai, with the first one being set up in the Xuhui District in 2010.
