One killed and two injured as bus veers onto sidewalk

A cyclist was killed by a bus which was allegedly trying to avoid him in downtown Shanghai on Monday morning, police said.
The incident took place at the crossroads of Pingxingguan Road and Guangzhong Road W. in Jing'an District at about 11am.
Two others were slightly injured and later treated in the hospital, police said.
Investigation is still underway.
