New transport hub planned for Shanghai Disneyland

A transportation hub integrated with a P+R site, terminal stations of five bus lines and public charging posts will be established near Kangxin Highway Station of Metro Line 11, near Shanghai Disneyland, Shanghai Municipal Engineering Design Institute said on its website recently.
Commuters heading to downtown areas can leave their vehicles in the P+R site, or park and ride site, then transfer to public transportation like a bus or subway there. The hub will be the city's 7th P+R site and the first one with charging post for electric vehicles near Metro station.
According to the released design, the hub will be an eco-friendly building, with energy conservative facilities such as solar panels at the roof, which will provide electricity for the hub's operation.
