Fog forces Line 16 trains to run at slower speeds

Metro Line 16 trains drove at reduced speeds for two hours due to heavy fog this morning.

The Shanghai Meteorological Bureau issued a yellow fog alert at 5am, forecasting visibility of less than 100 meters in Songjiang and Minhang districts.

Shanghai Shentong Metro Group announced at 7am that Line 16 trains would operate at reduced speeds from Luoshan Road to Dishui Lake. It added the interval between trains would be longer than usual.
