Exhibition to promote ancient Chinese culture

AN exhibition of Chinese paintings and calligraphy in theme of poems created in Tang and Song dynasties kicked off at the Shanghai Federation of Literary and Art Circles to promote ancient Chinese culture.

Invited by the organizers, the Shanghai Committee of the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang, the Shanghai Xiangshan Art Academy and their branches, 38 local calligraphers and painters, including some members of the committee, offered about 70 pieces of works to be displayed in the exhibition

The exhibition is free to the public and will conclude on June 30.
