Documentary on China’s tallest skyscraper screened

Shanghai Media Group’s Documentary Channel held a special screening of its latest documentary on Shanghai Tower at the Baoku Art Center.

The documentary took around 4 years to make and narrates the stories behind the 632-meter-high building’s construction and its technology and facilities. The tower is the newest landmark in the city.

It was also the first time that the domestic filmmakers made a film of a 600m-high building.

Shanghai Tower is the tallest skyscraper in China and the second-tallest in the world.

After collaborating with Sinan Mansions, the channel launched a documentary salon with Baoku China to screen documentaries every month at the Shanghai Tower.

Audiences will also have a chance to watch the latest releases and talk with directors, critics and celebrities.
