19 trains canceled due to Typhoon Matmo

NINETEEN bullet trains bound from Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station have been cancelled this morning due to the approaching of Typhoon Matmo.

Train services between Shanghai and coastal cities including Fuzhou, Xiamen, Shenzhen have been suspended as Typhoon Matmo is expected to bring strong wind and thunderstorms to city.

Passengers can get a refund within five days, according to railway authorities.

Short trips to neighboring Zhejiang Province have not been affected so far.
