Road closures

A section of Expressway G60 between Zhuji and Yiwu will be closed for renovations starting on June 6, forcing vehicles going to Lishui, Jinhua and Quzhou in central Zhejiang to find an alternative route.

The 46-kilometer section will be closed to traffic until September 28, officials said.

Drivers are being advised to take Expressway G25 to go to Lishui, Jinhua and Quzhou.

Meanwhile, the Haishu Road project started last Wednesday, meaning sections of Hangzhou Raocheng Expressway, a main artery for intercity traffic, are partially closed. Drivers are advised to avoid the expressway through September 27.

Traffic on the section of Raocheng Expressway between Wenyi Road W. and Wen’er Road W. will be rerouted, officials said.

A four-lane temporary road west of the expressway will open in its place.

Haishu Road will connect downtown Hangzhou with the Future Science Town.

Officials said the north, south and east sections of Raocheng Expressway are also partially closed between May 20 and August 31. Drivers are advised to find different routes.
