Home prices drop

Hangzhou’s average home price fell 10.3 percent year-on-year in December, the biggest drop among 70 major cities in China, according to the National Bureau of Statistics.
The bureau said that home prices continued to decline across the country but at a slower pace as buyer sentiment improved. Last month 66 cities registered a drop in home prices, compared with 67 in November. Prices were flat in three cities. The only city recording an increase in home prices was Shenzhen, Guangdong Province.
