Bridge repaired

A PRIVATE SUV knocked off five stone slabs and four balusters in the West Lake area as it plunged from a bridge into the water in the wee hours a week ago, killing one person and injuring another.
Divers salvaged some stones but found only two pieces intact. The West Lake administration purchased stones from Shaoxing and masons from Shaoxing restored the bridge Monday morning.
