Ancient jade shown
An exhibition featuring 240 jade artifacts from the Shang and the Western Zhou periods (16th century-770 BC) is being held in Liangzhu Museum in northwest of Hangzhou until November 25.
These jade pieces, on loan from the Institute of Archeology under the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, are being shown outside Beijing for the first time. They include sacrificial items, accessories, ornaments and weapons.
