Expo: It’s smiles ahead

A commuter can’t hide her delight as she encounters a brace of Haibao, the 2010 Shanghai World Expo mascot, at the People’s Square Metro Station yesterday. The city has kicked off activities to mark the 600-day Expo countdown. Shanghai is expected to attract more than 70 million visitors from home and abroad during the 184-day event.
