Two girls eat sweet turnip in a kindergarten in Zaozhuang, Shandong Province as today marks Lichun or the "start of spring" in the Chinese lunar calender. It's a tradition in parts of Shandong to eat turnip on this day. The folk custom is called "bite the spring."
