Q: What's so special about it?
A: The scene is amazing, and most special is I went there with my family and drove from Hangzhou. We stopped when we were tired and stayed in several places like Wenzhou, Ningde and Fuzhou for one or two days. It was not only about the destination, the whole trip from Hangzhou to Fujian was an interesting experience.
Q: What necessities you have to take when going to Fujian?
A: Camera, sunglasses and sun-protective clothing.
Q: What do you do upon arriving in Fujian?
A: Find the hotel and then go to a seafood restaurant.
Q: What local specialties do you try?
A: Seafood, including some creatures never seen in other places before. There are many choices and it’s not expensive.
Q: Please share an unforgettable experience during your trip to Fujian.
A: Dongdai Town in Fuzhou City. My family (myself, husband and son) rented a small boat and went to a small island that was underdeveloped. I’m quite sure there’s no one living there or any other tourists staying there. We put up the tent, cooked the seafood we brought and spent one night on this island. Only us. It was so quiet during the night. All we could hear were the sea waves washing ashore. And when we woke up there were mosquitoes all around our tent.
