Shanghai Marriott delivers convenience, comfort

Featuring an online platform, MeetingsImagined.com provides expert tips, the latest trends, and hundreds of inspirational images to spark creativity — all filtered based on the objective of the meeting. Using the website, customers can collaborate with hotels to design custom experiences or view signature experiences from participating hotels, as well as post favorite images on social media sites like Pinterest and Facebook.

Red Coat Direct is an app that allows meeting organizers to adjust and edit their requests and preferences with a few taps and without ever leaving a meeting room. It is the first branded hotel app to grant any meeting wish (within reason) from room temperature adjustments to coffee refills, or having lunch served earlier with an additional vegetarian dish.

There are 720 guestrooms including Deluxe and Executive rooms, along with the Executive Suite and River View Suite. Guestroom facilities include flat-screen TV’s, DVD player, hair dryer, safe deposit box, digital alarm clock, tea and coffee making facilities and a mini-bar.

For food gourmets, the hotel’s restaurants serve a wide variety of cuisines. Man Ho, a stylish Chinese restaurant, offers authentic Cantonese and Shanghainese dishes. The menu also includes a wide array of Chinese teas, fine wines and premium Chinese liquors.

Inagiku serves premium sushi, teppanyaki and legendary Inagiku tempura prepared by Japanese master chefs. Shanghai City Bistro is a lively all-day international restaurant featuring open kitchen grills, tandoori and wood burning stoves, and various cold bars serving up freshly prepared food. On the first floor, the Lounge and Java+ offer relaxing spaces to chat with business partners and friends. Also the in-room dining is available 24 hours a day.

The hotel’s Fitness Center features extensive cardiovascular equipment and free weights. Personal trainers are available. There is also a 25-meter indoor swimming pool with Jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. The Spa provides luxurious body and beauty rituals in seven private treatment rooms.

Executive guestrooms and suites enjoy access to the 37th floor Executive Lounge, which offers breakfast, all-day snacks, beverages and other premium amenities.
