Wander through the wonders of Hermès

INCORPORATING 11 individual yet connected spaces, the Hermès “Wanderland” exhibition takes visitors on a fantastic colorful journey through the collection of Émile Hermès, Hermès archives and contemporary artworks.

The exhibition has been presented in London, Paris, Dubai, and Seoul before its debut in China this spring.

Inspired by the concept of Parisian “flâneurie (aimless wandering),” the displayed Parisian café, metro station, crossroad, arcades and other attractions take the visitor time-travelling to Paris in a flash. You can also watch a selection of videos made between 1800 and 2011 to witness the great changes having taken place in the romantic city.

Young Chinese artist Wenna was invited to create the mural “Paris-Shanghai” for the exhibition: a picture featuring the Parisian metro with artistic graffiti integrating both Chinese and western cultures with a touch of history.

The exhibition lasts until May 28.

Date: Through May 28, 11am-7pm (closed on Mondays)

Ticket: 20 yuan (Gewala.com)

Venue: Power Station of Art, Shanghai

Address: 200 Huangyuangang Rd.
