The second season of talent show “Amazing Chinese”

Begins this month on CCTV-1. It is widely regarded as an updated version of the popular “China’s Got Talent.”

The show showcases the hopes and dreams of ordinary Chinese people from all walks of life.

The participants will not only sing and dance on stage, but also show off some special skills that are related to their professions.

The jury panel includes actress Fan Bingbing, stand-up comedian Zhou Libo and singer Cai Guoqing.

Cai, who has been in the entertainment industry for more than 30 years, advised young hopefuls to be brave and face up to the challenges in life.

“Every one of us has the potential within ourselves to be amazing,” says Cai.

“The show enables people to discover their true and hidden talents.”
