Shanghai French Week celebrates Gallic fare and a bit of je ne sais quoi

The 16th Shanghai French Week, supported by the Shanghai government and the French Consulate General in Shanghai, kicks off on the pedestrian street of Yandang Road today and run until October 15.

This large-scale event, free of charge, showcases French fashion, design, handicrafts as well as authentic French food such as baguettes, pastry, cheese, wine and other traditional dishes.

The Alliance Francaise in Shanghai will celebrate its 25th anniversary during Shanghai French Week. At their booth will be a touch of French lifestyle, such as sketch artists, baby foot (table football), dance video game and comic books.

Date: Through October 15, Monday-Thursday, 11am-7pm; Friday-Saturday, 11am-8pm; Sunday 11am-7pm
