‘Night Peacock’

The Sino-French romantic film is the latest production of novelist and film director Dai Sijie, who is adept at telling stories with cross-culture appeal. Set in Chengdu and Paris, the film is a love story between a Chinese-French girl with men in different cities. It also shows the independence and courage of modern Chinese women. Last year the film was selected for screening at the Busan International Film Festival.
