Little singers of Paris

The Little Singers of Paris (Les Petits Chanteurs a la croix de Bois), one of the best boys choirs in the world, are bringing their classic performance to Shanghai. The programs include Mozart’s “Berceuse,” Sermisy’s “Mignonne, Allons Voir Si La Rose” and some other famous traditional songs from all over the world. Formed in 1907, the Little Singers of Paris concentrated mainly on religious repertoire until a young priest named Abbe Maillet took over and introduced popular French and foreign songs in 1924. The choir has since toured over 80 countries around the world and was named affectionately as the “Messenger of Peace” by the Pope.
