Chenshan Botanical’s magic garden in bloom

Chenshan Botanical Garden in Songjiang District is inviting visitors to explore the magic plant and animal world with 10 night tours this summer.
Children can learn about different varieties of plants, how carnivorous and tropical plants survive and hear stories behind the fun names of several flowers.
Insect observation is also part of the activities, enabling children to meet fireflies and giant stag beetles. Webcasts will be held on Douyin (TikTok). The next night tour will be held on Friday and Saturday.
The botanical garden’s summer camps have entertained nearly 5,000 children so far in their ninth year.
Meanwhile, Shanghai Botanical Garden in Xuhui District will host a number of webcasts to explore insect movement at night.
