Shanghai brochure and video downloadable from ShanghaiDaily.com

The online department has incorporated two new features for ShanghaiDaily.com - a downloadable brochure filled with basic facts about Shanghai and a new promotional film entitled "Shanghai Concerto," which can be viewed online.

"Shanghai Basic Facts 2007" is published by China Intercontinental Press. It was translated from the Chinese version by Shanghai Daily editor Meng Tiexia. Licensed by the publishing house, we are now providing downloads of this book in PDF format in the hope that it will act as an "induction course" for those who are coming to Shanghai.

Presented by the Information Office of the Shanghai Municipal Government, "Shanghai Concerto" is a latest promotion film about Shanghai with subtitles in four languages: Chinese, English, Japanese and Russian. It features internationally acclaimed young pianiast Lang Lang and some recent footage showing all aspects of the city.
